Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-09-05. Last updated 2026-09-28 (list settings added).
What we collect from you
Your email address, optional company name, the trade lines, value filter, and email language you choose, the list settings you save (ZIP codes, property type, builders to hide), a hashed IP at signup for abuse prevention, and send logs. Payment details are handled by Stripe; we store only Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers.
What we do with it
Send the digests you asked for, operate billing, and prevent abuse. We do not sell or share your information with anyone other than our processors (Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for email, Stripe for payments).
About the permit data
The permit records we process are public records published by Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami under Florida's public records law (Chapter 119). We never request or store property-owner names. Contractor business names, business phone numbers, and license numbers appear only as published in the public record. Anyone may ask that a property address, a contractor business name, or a phone number be left out of future digests, exports, and pages using the suppression form; it takes effect immediately for everything sent after the request. Digests and exports already delivered cannot be recalled. Anyone whose address is exempt from disclosure under Fla. Stat. 119.071 may use the same form.
Links in our sales emails
Some links in our emails to businesses carry a short code (for example ?c=1a2b3c). When you open one, we record the code, the page, the time, your country, and your browser type, so we know the email was read. We do not store your IP address for this, set no cookie, and our emails contain no tracking pixels.
AI assistant connector
If you connect PermitNext to an AI assistant through our connector, we receive the inputs the assistant sends to our tools (the trade, number of days, and filters) and the IP address of the request, never your conversation. The IP address is used only to apply usage limits and is not stored in our database. Without a key, we keep only a daily count of calls per tool, with nothing that identifies you. With a key, we log the tool used, the trade, the number of days, the result count, your plan, and your account ID, to run and improve the service; that log is deleted with your account when you ask. Your connector key is stored only as a one-way hash, with the date it was made and the time it was last used. Making a new key stops the old one, and you can turn a key off at any time on the key page. The assistant's own provider handles your conversation under its own privacy policy.
